I'll start out by showing some tools I use.  There is allot more than I show here.
   Here is a set of templates I use sometimes.

Here I'm glueing the side pieces together in a jig I
made.  Notice the blocks glued in the joints.  The
bottom piece isn't there yet.
This is the start I have so far.   This will be a little different violin.  The woods will not be normal woods used in violins.
The sides are sycamore,  the front and back are western red cedar, the neck is honey locust.  I've started carving the top. The top and back are two pieces glued together, vertical grain.
